A few updates

It has been quite a year! A lot of ups and downs- mostly downs for a little while when an ongoing family issue hit its peak. But 2018 is really shaping up!
This year is about getting out there and testing my new limits.

• I am in the first draft stages of a set of reference books that address ideas and content generation stages of writing. The first one will be for fiction writers, coming in early summer. By August, I will also have an exercise workbook for copywriters completed that address writing stories and benefits for target audiences.
  
  
• We are the average of the five people we most hang out with. I returned to the Professional Writer’s Alliance, and I am scheduling more time to surround myself with fellow professionals.
  
  
• I am taking the AWAI Six-figure copywriting course, which I started in 2015 and let fall to the backburner. I am roughly half-way through as of today and already see a marked improvement in my copywriting. I’ve learned things in the past 21 days that would have taken years of trial and error to accomplish.
  
  
• More time set aside in my work schedule for experiencing life and personal writing. I have entered a writing contest this week, and I plan to enter more every month to build a more robust portfolio.
  
  
• I am still Ghostwriting, but I am transitioning it to a secondary role given it is not conductive to public portfolio building. My primary goal is to be a Copywriter that offers Ghostwriting of other publications on the side (and for industry standard rates).
